Hello, and thanks for checking in. It's been a busy spring!
We mailed AGW Vol 11 No 3 just a couple of weeks ago. This issue includes Time in a Bottle (one of my favorite Jim Croce songs), some favorite Croce licks, Time Well Spent (a new fingerpickin' tune from my friend and mentor Clyde Kendrick), and an arrangement of the Bill and Gloria Gaither gospel favorite Because He Lives.
My latest book, The Paul Yandell Collection, is now available. Paul is one of my guitar heroes, and this project was a labor of love for me. I hope you'll enjoy it, too.
Look for my arrangement of the Beatles' Eight Days a Week in the August issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine (on newstands July 1). It's a solo fingerstyle version, and I somehow managed to work in the melody, harmony, and even a walking bass line. I'll be playing this and other Beatles tunes with my buddy Stephen Bennett next month at the 21st annual Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville. I'll also be teaching a tune from the classic album Chet Atkins Picks on the Beatles. Maybe we'll see you there!

P.S. If you need to brush up on your fingerpickin', check out my lessons at www.zapguitar.com. The graded fingerstyle course will start you from the ground up. I'll be adding more lessons in the future, as time permits.
