"Before I was a relatively obscure fingerpicker, I was a completely unknown Christian singer/songwriter/guitarist. These recordings date from the mid-1980's, when I - armed only with an old TEAC 4-track reel-to-reel and a Shure SM-57 mic - recorded all the vocal and instrumental parts myself. (I'm still not sure how I got all those parts on there.) My singing may be a little flat in some places (no Auto-Tune in the olden days, don't you know), but I hope the message still comes through."
